South Australia's vocational education and training (VET) sector is once again in the spotlight, with the finalists of the 2025 South Australian Training Awards officially announced.

WorldSkills Australia National Championships

WorldSkills Australia aims to promote and build a skills culture, celebrate excellence and showcase vocational education and training. The WorldSkills Australia National Championships and Skills Show serve as Australia’s biggest vocational education and excellence competition and skills showcase.

South Australia has officially been named as the host for the 2027 WorldSkills Australia National Championships and Skills Show.

Micro-credentials in South Australia

The Micro-credential Pilot Program (Pilot), which commenced in late 2020, concluded on 30 June 2023. The South Australian Skills Commission considered 66 applications and endorsed 36.
